Dot NAME Domain Name Registrations

Introduced in 2001, the .NAME generic extension is the sole TLD intended for personal web pages only. These domains can consist of personal or fictional names, aliases and/or other titles people are popular by. At first, just 3rd-level registrations were allowed, so if you wanted to obtain john.doe.name, you were supposed to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was loosened and second-level registrations were also permitted. Already bought 3rd-level domains remained operational.

Through our company, you can order your .NAME domain for an interval between one and ten years. You will have the chance to modify the WHOIS contact info, to park your domain, to set up Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an existing domain to our company if you obtain its EPP transfer authorization code from the present domain registrar and we will renew it when the transfer has been done. There are no specific stipulations on who can book a .NAME domain, but in order to maintain the objective behind its establishment alive, the dot NAME Registry organization may verify who the owner is and if there is no relation between the owner and the actual domain name, the registration could be challenged.
